Biographies

The Last Rhino is an Indie/Alternative rock band based out of Milwaukee, WI, consisting of four members: William R. Gardiner, John Keller, Chris Schwab, and Travis Thorp.  Influenced by Radiohead, Incubus, Death Cab for Cutie, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, TV on the Radio, and others, it is their goal to write diverse music to appeal to the broad range of musical tastes that most people, including themselves, describe having. They independently released their first demo EP, "Good at Goodbyes", in 2008, followed by a more substantial EP, "Get Over It!", in January of 2009.  On March 19th, 2011, The Last Rhino teamed up with J. Chirstopher Hughes to release their first full-length album entitled "Surrounded by Fog".  The Last Rhino is a band that thrives off of the energy they bring to their live shows and loves to be surrounded by the myriad of instruments they require to fill out their rich and nuanced soundscape. They are currently playing and booking  shows in Riverwest, Milwaukee's East Side, and Bayview to promote and support their studio efforts.
